Questions, answered
The questions every California dealer applicant asks — approval status, what things cost, how the bond works, why the name on your paperwork matters more than the paperwork, and how the Spanish course is built. Straight answers, no sales talk.
Not yet — and we will never pretend otherwise. California DMV approves dealer-education providers and issues each one a CCC number; ours is still pending, and the pre-license course and renewal CE cannot be sold until it is issued. That is why this is a pre-launch site with no checkout: the only thing open today is the founding list. The moment approval issues, enrollment opens and founding-list members are notified first.
All prices are planned launch pricing. The 6-hour pre-license course is $125. Renewal CE is $39. The Template Kit — your full application packet, completed by the system — is $50, and it is credited toward a guided upgrade. Guided Setup is $1,499, or $1,999 with corporate/LLC filing, and both guided tiers are plus government fees at cost (state filing fees, DMV fees, Live Scan, and the bond premium are set by the state and the surety, not by us).
They are three depths of the same promise. The course teaches you and certifies you — it is the state's required education step. The $50 Template Kit completes your application paperwork from one profile: directions, in order, with the consistency check. Guided Setup is directions plus management: enforced sequencing, your entity and DBA verified against state records, counter-by-counter guidance, and rescue if you stall. The $1,999 tier adds filing your corporation or LLC.
Twelve sections totalling 360 minutes of prose lessons (video in production), with the answers taught inside the lessons themselves. When all 12 sections are complete, a final exam of 40 questions drawn across the course requires 70% — 28 of 40 — to pass. Your completion certificate is issued instantly into your permanent portal account, and the account then carries your application tracker and deadlines.
That is exactly the design problem our bilingual format solves. Lessons are taught in Spanish so you fully understand the material; the English DMV terminology is taught as vocabulary inside every lesson; and the course final and exam practice run in English, with an explanation-in-Spanish option, so you meet the state's English exam prepared rather than surprised. A built-in English–Spanish glossary lives in your portal. Renewal CE has no state exam after it, so its Spanish version carries full value on its own.
Dealer licenses renew every two years, and continuing education — four hours — is part of each renewal; one completion per dealership covers it, taken by the dealer or a managerial employee. Wholesale-only dealers selling fewer than 50 vehicles a year are exempt by statute. Our portal tracks your renewal date and reminds you at one year out, then 90, 60, 30, and 7 days, with early renewal offered at the 90-day touch.
No. We are not a surety company, an insurance agency, or a bond seller. California requires a $50,000 bond, issued in your true full legal name exactly as it appears on your application. What we do is construct that exact name string from your verified profile — the step bond companies will not coach — and refer you to a surety partner through a tracked link, with the string passed into their application. The partner prices and issues the bond. If the partner pays us a referral share, it costs you nothing extra, and nothing you buy from us is ever conditional on using the referral.
Because it is the number-one reason application packets get kicked back. The same name has to be rendered exactly — character for character — across the DBA filing, the notarized documents, the bond, and the DMV forms, and each counter expects its own correct construction (a sole proprietor's personal name is mandatory, a corporation's registered name carries its suffix, an LLC's name carries 'LLC'). Our system enters the name once, locks it, propagates it everywhere, and runs a consistency gate before you sign.
One login, for as long as you hold your license. It holds your certificates, your completed forms and master copies (including a re-printable Live Scan form), your application tracker, and your deadline calendar — bond renewals annually, license renewal every two years, CE reminders a year ahead. It is the safe place for your licensing files, and the reason renewing with us costs less than starting over somewhere else: nothing has to be re-entered.
In stages, and the founding list hears about each one first. The course and CE open only when DMV approval issues — no exceptions, and no course payment will ever be taken before then. The Template Kit and Guided Setup are document-preparation services rather than the regulated course, and they open with the full launch. Until then, this site sells nothing and takes no payments; joining the list is free and carries no obligation.
The course opens the moment DMV approval is issued. Founding-list members get first access, the launch prices, and a same-day email as each product becomes available.
Waitlist only — nothing is being sold and no payment is taken yet.
