Guided Setup manages the journey itself — the same documents, but with enforced sequencing, your corporate and DBA details verified against state records before anything generates, guidance at every counter, and a rescue the moment you stall.

What $1,499 adds

Not different documents — a managed journey

Enforced sequencing — steps unlock in the order the license actually works: entity first, then its number and file date, then the DBA applied to the entity, then the bond in the exact combined name, then the packet.
Verification before generation — your corporate information, file date, entity number, and DBA are checked against Secretary of State records before a single document is produced.
Counter-by-counter guidance — at the bond, the notary, Live Scan, and the county clerk: what to bring, in what format, and what happens next. Arrive complete, every time.
Stall detection and rescue — if a step sits too long, the system reaches out with the specific fix; a person reviews only the true exceptions, through a dedicated exceptions queue.
A pre-submission consistency gate — the legal name is compared across the DBA statement, the bond, and every form before you sign, because that mismatch is the number-one reason packets come back.

The filing tier

$1,999: we also file your entity

Add corporate or LLC filing and the journey starts one step earlier: you choose the entity type (we prepare paperwork; we do not advise the choice), review and authorize the filing, and we file as organizer at your direction. The entity's name, number, and file date then become the source of truth the whole packet is built from — which is exactly why the name stays consistent everywhere after it.

The fictitious-name step follows the same pattern statewide: by default your DBA is filed through the Los Angeles County online service — the standard fully-online channel — and you are told that upfront. If a bank or agency ever will not accept it, the system generates the identical filing for your local county, with a short tutorial, from the same data. Nothing gets re-typed.

What stays yours

Some steps are yours by law and by nature: attending the course, sitting the in-person DMV exam, Live Scan fingerprinting, your premises and signage, and signing and submitting the packet as the applicant of record. We prepare and guide every one of them — the acts themselves remain yours.

Fees, plainly

Both tiers are plus government fees, charged at cost on top: Secretary of State filing fees, DMV fees, Live Scan charges, and the bond premium are the state's and the surety's prices, never marked up by us. The tier price buys our service only.

Capacity is deliberate: guided setups are capped at 2–3 per month so the human-touch steps stay inside a tight envelope, with a waitlist beyond the cap. Most buyers never need the cap to matter — they need the order enforced and the net underneath them.
